Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 1, 2026
This policy covers the Akoro app for iPhone and iPad, made by SGWNI, and this website. Akoro was called Acorn until version 2.4, and it’s called Nussi in German. Akoro has no accounts and no ads, and we don’t sell data.
Your family’s data
Children’s profiles, balances, transactions, recurring payments, savings goals and their photos, and chores are stored on your device and synced through your private iCloud account. This data is encrypted by Apple and is never accessible to us. We don’t run a server that holds it.
Anonymous analytics
We use TelemetryDeck to count how features are used, such as when a transaction is added. Once a day the app also sends a rough picture of how it’s being used: the number of children (up to 3 or more), the number of recurring payments (up to 2 or more), whether there’s a savings goal, how many transactions were added this week (none, 1 to 3, or 4 or more), whether Akoro Pro is active, and whether iCloud is available.
Each signal also includes general details such as the app version, device model, system version, language, region and time zone, and a scrambled identifier so that a device is only counted once.
These signals are anonymous. They never include names, amounts or any other information you enter, and they can’t be used to identify you.
Purchases
Subscriptions and other purchases are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to check whether Akoro Pro is active, which involves an anonymous app user ID and your purchase history. RevenueCat never receives your payment details.
Children
Akoro is for parents and carers to use. Anything you enter about a child stays in your family’s data, as described above, and none of it reaches us.
This website
This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It uses no cookies and doesn’t identify you. If you email us, we use your message only to reply.
The free tools
The chart makers and calculators on this site run in your browser and send nothing to us, including any names you type. The chart makers remember what you entered in your browser, so it’s there next time, and Start again clears it.
Changes and questions
If what Akoro collects changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. Questions are welcome at hello@akoro.app.
